The Stooges

The Stooges are one of the most influential and pioneering bands in the history of rock music; a Detroit group fronted by Iggy Pop whose raw, confrontational proto-punk sound and Iggy’s electrifying and unpredictable live performances laid the groundwork for punk rock and inspired generations of musicians. Their albums Fun House and Raw Power are widely regarded as foundational documents of punk and alternative rock and their influence on modern music is incalculable.
